director, documentary, editor, music and dance

Battle Afro_Bandeau

Created in 2008 by the association Master & Platinum to promote african dances, the dance show and competition Battle Afro takes place every year in Paris.

More than 80 of the best african dancers come from all over France (and sometimes abroad) to the famous stage of La Cigale to compete for the title. It is a unique way for the audience to discover and appreciate the diversity of african dances and cultures.

Follow the dancers, the organizers and the volunteers of the association, the makeup artists, the technical staff, -who are all making this event possible-, in a 52′ documentary retracing the 6th edition of Battle Afro (trailer below).
